Rebuilding farmland biodiversity through Fair To Nature farming…

Being Fair to Nature is about rebuilding the world’s wildlife through nature friendly production methods. In the UK alone we have lost 97% of wildflower meadows. It’s critical that we demand products that are ethical, sustainable and Fair to Nature!

This is done by accrediting brands that use ‘Fair to Nature’ farming practices to boost biodiversity, Honeyfield’s is one of those brands. Accredited farms create specific wildlife habitats on at least 10% of their land and follow a unique sustainability protocol.

Where the ingredients allow, Honeyfield’s bird foods contain cereals and other seeds grown on Fair to Nature farms. These farms grow special areas of seed-bearing crops to provide food for farmland bird species, such as linnets, skylarks, and buntingsThis means that Honeyfield’s bird food not only feeds the birds in your garden but looks after the birds in our countryside too!

Managing Director, Sam Marriage says ‘We, as consumers, are increasingly aware that the decisions we make in our shopping baskets decide the type of world we live in. Honeyfield’s aim to provide consumers with a choice to buy products that have truly sustainable credentials.’
